A HALLELUJAH DAY!

OUR WORSHIP EXPERIENCE AT THE LAKE ON SUNDAY JUNE 5, 2011

55 people gathered at the lake for Worship
A BAPTISM
Gunther reading his statement of commitment to the Lord

"Yes, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he died so that I might have eternal life."

Down into the water and rising up a new Creature in Christ

Gunther speaks very little English, but he does know how to say "I am so happy."  I think Jake and Josh were happy, too!
Greg, delivering a blessing (challenge) to Gunther.  He even read Scripture in German (way to go, Greg!)

Kim and Amanda, along with their husbands, Josh and Jake (pictured) give so much of their time sharing Jesus with people in Austria.
We were joined by many visitors (some of whom had never witnessed a baptism) and one of the house churches from the large German speaking congregation.  We even had Stacy and Sarah from Oklahoma, who were touring Europe.

Gunther's wife and two daughters
Edda  and her daughter, Nora.  We love having their family worship with us.

Paulie (Edda's son) holding Carson (our newest little addition) with his Dad's supervision.  Sus!

What's church without a few distractions (especially when there is God's beautiful creation right there?!)
What does one do when the grasshopper just won't leave?

And who could possibly pass up this photo op?

A wonderful time experienced by both young and old alike.

After our worship time at the lake we all adjourned to our church office to have refreshments and fellowship.  Following our fellowship time about twenty of us ate down the road at Du Chen's.  It was a beautiful day and we were able to eat out on the terrace.   We arrived back at our apartment nine hours later, having left at 8:00am.  It was definitely a full day!

A PERFECT ENDING TO A PERFECT DAY!
We took Stacy and Sarah to our favorite Eis Cafe.
